Bicton Gardens

Bicton Park Botanical Gardens is home to many rare plants with origins from all parts of the world and has one of the finest collections of trees in Britain. As well as having 64 beautiful acres of grounds, they provide a large offering of activities for the whole family to enjoy.  These activities include an indoor play area, a popular train ride, outdoor adventure, a countryside museum and more.

SPS Marketing supported Bicton for all their design and marketing needs for decades and we enjoyed the challenge of authentically presenting this fantastic tourist attraction to young and old, both locally and also further afield.

Tourist leaflet design

Printed literature is still a very effective way to get your brand in front of the right people. Each year we created a tourist leaflet to attract new visitors to Bicton and organised for these to be distributed through a range of channels such as door-to-door mail and tourist leaflet racks up and down the M5/M4 corridor.

Advert design

Ensuring that Bicton Park Botanical Gardens is one of the best known and loved attractions in the South West was our top priority. It was therefore important that we placed well designed adverts strategically to get the best reach for optimum marketing spend. We also used trackable QR codes in each advert so that we could monitor how effective each publication was for directing traffic to the website.

Website design

In 2023 we designed a new website for Bicton and passed the design skins over to their development agency to build. The design showcased the beauty of Bicton’s gardens along with the range of activities on offer there, allowing visitors to plan and prepare for their day out at the gardens.
