Darren is our resident brand whisperer, the guy who helps businesses find their authentic voice and turn it into something that actually works. He’s all about seeing companies thrive and making life better for the people behind them.
When he’s not shaping brands, you’ll probably find him outdoors running, cycling or pretending a triathlon is a good idea. He’s also a music fan and plays guitar at his church, which means he’s got more strings to his bow than most (and generally makes a lot of noise).
His passion? Helping people stand out for the right reasons, preferably without wearing neon lycra.
Craig is our mildly amusing designer and unofficial tea‑powered machine.
He spends his days glued to his chair, crafting everything from branding and web design to the social media posts you see out in the wild – all fuelled by endless cups of tea and the occasional packet of Frazzles.
When he’s not designing, Craig can usually be found at the gym or buried under rubble while renovating his 150‑year‑old house. He’d much rather be watching rugby, but apparently walls don’t plaster themselves!
Christina joined SPS after home-educating her four children. Whilst her love of good children’s books doesn’t come in handy too often, her plate-spinning skills from those years are used on a daily basis as she oversees all the activity in the studio and keeps things on track. She loves the variety in her day and finding out more about the people and businesses we get to work with. She is also in charge of the plants in the office, with limited success…
Otherwise, Christina can often be found in the great outdoors, walking the hills, taking a (quick) dip, or just marvelling at nature. A keen musician, she is usually singing along to something and enjoys playing piano and tenor sax (also in her church) and trying any other creative pursuits she can find time for.
Daryl works with, and invests in, young talented people. And of course, some not so young (Darren)!
He loves watching how, with a little encouragement, and maybe a teeny bit of outside wisdom, businesses can thrive. Our business continues to go from strength to strength, helping other companies find their voice and position their brands for success. Maybe some of that teeny-weeny wisdom is helping!
He cheers us on and keeps us focussed, and when he isn’t doing that, he’s enjoying being granddad, enjoying living in his hometown Exmouth, enjoying the sun, sand and perhaps a quiet sit down in a sea-facing beer garden!
She says money (or shoes) make the world go round, and she works hard to make sure our business spins in the right direction. Armed with a plethora of spreadsheets and a sixth sense for spotting rogue expenses, she guarantees every penny is accounted for.
She’s also the guardian of our customer accounts, making sure every transaction and detail is correct. She combines precision with care to ensure your accounts are accurate and secure.
When her head’s not in a spreadsheet, she can be found at a music gig, at the gym or obviously in a shoe shop!
The homely atmosphere of SPS headquarters is greatly enhanced when Molly, with her fluffy wagging tail, comes to be part of the team.
Whether sleeping curled up in her bed, rolling over for a belly rub, or playing with Mr Strong (her toy), she reduces our blood pressure and generally helps bring peace and joy to proceedings. She particularly likes exploring the local area in her lunch break.
When not in the office, Molly can be found playing ball at the beach, chasing squirrels or chilling with her loving family.
