YMCA Established 2022

YMCA Exeter commissioned us to create a logo for a fantastic venture to tackle Exeter’s 1-bed housing crisis. This project was called Established 2022 and involved taking an abandoned warehouse near the city centre and converting it into 26 self-contained studio apartments.

We designed a logo which could be animated to show the various elements that went into the project. Replacing the zero in 2022 we created a series of icons showing a map pin, the YMCA triangle, a heart and then returned to the pin. This illustrates how the project was designed to give people a place on the map, that it was setup through the YMCA and motivated by love. We created the logo to work on both white and orange backgrounds.
